John Freeman
As Founder of the organization he champions the mission of Harvest USA. John began his ministry with Harvest USA as a volunteer while still in seminary. He has a deep burden to see those who struggle with their sexuality, with pornography, or with sexual addictions to experience the truth and mercy of the gospel through Jesus Christ in order to live godly and faithful lives. John spends most of his time helping churches be equipped to better care for the hearts of individuals and families vulnerable to these struggles. A native of Chattanooga, TN, John is a graduate of the University of Tennessee and Westminster Theological Seminary, PA. In addition to his ministry with Harvest USA, John has served as adjunct faculty in the graduate counseling departments of Cairn University, Langhorne, PA and Center for Urban Theological Studies, Philadelphia, PA. He is a ruling elder in the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA). John and his wife, Penny, have been married for more than 30 years and have three grown children. Their home is in the Philadelphia area.
