Continuing the Mission of Gospel Hope for Sexual Sin
How has Harvest USA been a part of your life? Perhaps you’ve given sacrificially to support our ministry, or you know one of our staff members. Perhaps you or someone you love found gospel hope and transformation for sexual sin through our support groups, or you’ve used our resources to help a friend navigate the complexities of biblical sexuality. Or maybe you’ve spent precious moments lifting our ministry up in prayer—a quiet labor of love that we deeply value.
To whatever extent you’re engaging with Harvest USA, you are making a clear statement—with your time, your talent, or your treasure—that our mission is important. You recognize that bringing the truth and mercy of Jesus Christ to those impacted by sexual struggles is a vital, counter-cultural work.
Your Stewardship Can Propel Gospel Transformation for Sexual Sin
Time is a gift from God, and Psalm 90:12 asks that he would “teach us to number our days, that we may get a heart of wisdom.”
As we look to the future, we should ask: Am I prioritizing my time, talent and treasure to align with God’s will and eternal purposes? Is there something I can do now to sustain this important ministry so that others, in the years ahead, can find help and gospel healing when they need it?
We know that, from the very beginning, Satan has twisted and corrupted God’s beautiful design for sexuality, sex, and gender—and the need to help those struggling with shame and brokenness has never been greater. The spiritual battle for sexual integrity and holding high the authority of Scripture continues. It is critical that faithful stewards from one generation to the next stand firm.
Right now, the individuals who have stood with Harvest USA—partners like you—are exactly the ones best positioned to ensure our resources and discipleship continue, bringing gospel hope and transformation to so many people struggling with sexual sin and its consequences.
Helping Now and Into the Next Generation
Dan, one of our partners, explained his motivation for supporting Harvest USA: “I followed the ministry of Harvest USA for some time before I began giving. Over that time, I found their work to be of excellent quality and guided by the Word of God.”
Confident that Harvest USA was offering true gospel hope while remaining focused on biblical principles, Dan realized he could help sustain the ministry through simple changes to his estate plan. In doing so, he will be able to help many more people even into the next generation. “I continue giving on a regular basis,” Dan said, “and have included them as a beneficiary in my will.”
Like Dan, you can help the ministry of Harvest USA simply by adding a sentence or two in your will. With just a few words, you can engage in an act of stewardship that costs you nothing today, changes nothing about your current finances, and can be revised at any time as your circumstances change.
I am not talking about a complicated financial management tool for the wealthy. This simple legacy planning works for anyone who has decided that pointing men, women, and families toward gospel hope and transformation through the mercy of Christ is important.
How to Make a Bequest
If you haven’t yet made such a provision in your will and are wondering where to start, consider these small but significant first steps:
- Determine a percentage. Allocate a percentage of what remains after your loved ones are cared for.
- Give a specific amount. Designate a fixed dollar amount for the ministry.
- Donate to a specific project. Direct your gift toward a particular area, such as Harvest USA’s ministry to men, or women, or families.
Your attorney can easily add these details in a single paragraph. If it would be helpful to you, we can suggest specific language. We want to help you discover how your resources can make the greatest impact for the sake of the Kingdom.
If you’ve already named Harvest USA in your will or trust, please let us know. We want to thank you properly now and carry out your wishes faithfully in the years to come. It would be a great encouragement to us and will give us an opportunity to help you plan wisely, reduce your costs, and deliver the maximum financial impact for Harvest USA and any other ministries you support.
