Sometimes in life, we find ourselves in completely unexpected places. That is definitely true of Shalee’s journey. She went from playing college basketball to achieving her dream of playing professionally. But then her life shifted in a completely unexpected direction, which led to seminary and now a job in full-time ministry at Harvest USA.

About The Author

Shalee Lehning is a member of the Women’s Ministry staff at Harvest USA. She helps with the direct ministry at Harvest USA, along with writing blogs and leading groups of women. She was a member of the women’s basketball team at Kansas State University, where she received a B.S. in Broadcast Journalism. She then went on to play in the WNBA for the Atlanta Dream from 2009–2011. She also holds a Master of Theological Studies from The WEST Institute in Laramie, WY.
